American Library Association (ALA) Social Media Campaigns
Giving Tuesday 2020
Supported the Giving Tuesday 2020 campaign which focused on digital equity. While there was an effort to support giving, we focused on informing our audiences on digital equity. The campaign gathered over 100,000 impressions.
Instagram Stories & Instagram Main Feed: Our Instagram post did not request giving and instead requested our audiences to share on their Instagram stories for wider awareness of the digital divide. Instagram Stories video was created/designed by myself in Canva.
Twitter & Facebook: Twitter and Facebook shared the same graphics as Instagram but with additional stories about the factoids and a giving ask. (Click below to view full posts.)
Census 2020 Partnership
Near the end of the 2020 Census, we teamed up with a publisher on a #CountOnLibraries toolkit/resources and read-along video premiere on Facebook. I created a content schedule, video premiere launch management & wrote content. The video was shared by over 400 libraries who used it as a storytime resource for their Facebook pages. Holding Space - Advocacy Campaign
Supported a virtual road trip raising awareness of digital equity and other library advocacy issues. I scheduled all content, wrote social media copy & created Instagram graphics. (Click to view full post copy.) In addition, I wrote emails encouraging members to participate upcoming event dates.
